Busy as hell with an overambitious project though. Should be done soon and then back to more regular postings.

Lunch time doodle for now. Might take this to finish.

Henri & Co.

Exploring custom brushes and style for project Im working on. Liking this direction right now hopefully it will work out :D
Characters are completely unrelated to the project, just comfort-zoning for the sake of experimentation!

Abandoned painting idea. I need to work on more dynamic composition.
Might revisit this one later with a more dynamic view.

Sketchbook Pro

Playing around a bit. Always loved this program, I've yet to find something with a similar tactile response or find a way of doing it in Photoshop. Need to play with it more that's for sure.

Using salaryman's brushes.

distractions...

Every once in a while he'll twitch just so he can switch the tool Im using in Photoshop. Devious.

Rollers of the Realm update

Another one of my character portraits got released, the Farmboy.

Illustration I did for the current issue of Bloomberg of Businessweek about the John Carter movie.
The original version had the director, Andrew Stanton, posing as John Carter, but that got changed back to the actor last minute. I'm posting both and you can decide which works better!

Rollers of the Realm

For the past few months I've been working with Phantom Compass on an upcoming RPG Pinball title. They've recently launched the official website and promotional material so I'm getting a chance to share some of my character portraits I've been doing for the project.

These have been a real blast to do and a challenge stylistically. You can check out more info on the project on the official site:
